Here are some tips on using the ScholarshipMentor website. They'll help you get more out of the site.

1. The Current Scholarships are listed on the right hand side of most pages and they appear in chronological order according to the deadline of the scholarship. 

2. If you want to find out more about a scholarship, click on the hyperlink (you'll recognize it because the text is in a different color - just like this). This link will take you away from the ScholarshipMentor website and right to the sponsor's information page.

3. If at any time you want to get to the homepage, just click on the name ScholarshipMentor or the image at the top of the page and it will bring you back to the homepage (this works for many other sites as well). 

4. There's a search box in the upper right hand corner of the website and it works. If it's September and you're looking for scholarships for October or November, just type the month and most of the upcoming scholarships will show up. 

5. Sometimes there are scholarships that don't get into the monthly newsletter; they usually show up in the ScholarshipMentor twitter feed. You're encouraged to follow us there.

6. If you're looking at a local scholarship, often the state is listed at the top of the page and is hyperlinked. Just click on it and you'll get a page full of scholarships for that state (you can also use the search box to do this).
