The North Texas Home Educators’ Network Scholarship Program provides $500 scholarships to two homeschooled seniors living in north, northeast and north central Texas.

In addition to filling out the application, you must submit a copy of your ACT, SAT, or other college-designated test scores; provide a one-page autobiography, including a recent photo; write a 500-word description of your homeschooling experience; list extracurricular activities throughout your high school years, including details about activities and organizations and total hours served; and provide two non-family references with contact information for each.

• character
• community activities, and service.

 
Eligiblility:

• You must have been homeschooled at least the last three years of high school;
• You must have maintained a GPA of 3.0 or greater,
• You must have graduated from high school through a homeschool process and under Texas law,
• You must be planning to attend a two- or four-year institution of higher learning full time beginning in the fall of next year.

The application deadline is in mid-May.
