North Carolina Retail Merchants Association Scholarships

The North Carolina Retail Merchants Association (NCRMA) is a non-profit trade association whose goal is to improve the business climate for retail merchants.

The Carolina Food Industry Council (CFIC) was formed in 2004 as a result of a merger between the North Carolina Retail Merchants Association and the North Carolina Food Dealers Association.

Together they are offering 46 scholarships to students living in North or South Carolina.

From NCRMA, 6 students will each be awarded $2,500 for the academic year. From CFIC, 40 students will each be awarded $2,500 for the academic year.

The advantage of this scholarship program is that the NCRMA and CFIC will recognize students whose academic credentials fall within an average to above average range. Applications and official transcripts must be received in early March.
