If you live in one of the following Florida counties, you may be eligible for the Barnes Scholarships: Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, Pinellas, Hillsborough.

The scholarships were created to help high academic achievers, who have overcome significant obstacles in their lives and who have financial need. The four winners can receive up to $15,000 per year for four years to attend any nationally accredited college or university.

The deadline to apply is October 15th.

The students must be enrolled full-time and remain in good academic standing to continue to receive the scholarship.
