Xen is an Apocalyptic tale. A misanthropic geneticist designs a world without evil, ending the battle of the sexes, and unwittingly triggers another doomsday countdown. 

To enter the Avar Press Literary Essay Scholarship Competition you need to write a 1250 to 1500 word analysis of the Xen novel.
 
Judging:
Judging will be based on originality of the analysis.  Entries must be non-fiction and must not be a critique or book report.

Eligibility:
Any member of the U.S. or Canadian high school classes of 2012 or 2013 including home schoolers.

The Scholarship is not open to any persons, or their relatives, previously or currently
affiliated with Avar Press in any capacity.  Nor are any previous winners permitted to enter.
