Eligibility:
High school seniors Tzu Chi Scholars is a program established to recognize and provide financial assistance to college-bound high school graduates.
The program, funded by the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation, will offer each scholar an award of $1,000. Some of Scholars may be further recognized for a four-year total scholarship award of up to $4,000 if certain eligibility requirements and criteria are met.
Judging:
Scholars will be selected on the basis of their financial need, academic achievement, and community involvement.
Eligibility:
- Demonstrates financial need for college tuition
- Is a U.S. high school graduating senior or equivalent
- Has a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Will enroll in an accredited U.S. college full-time for the next academic year
