Evans Scholars Foundation will provides full tuition and housing college scholarships for deserving caddies.

The Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship will pay your full tuition and housing costs for four years if you are one of the more than 800 caddies selected each year. This scholarship is for students who have a strong caddie record, excellent grades, outstanding character and demonstrated financial need.

In order to apply you must be sponsored by a club and complete a school evaluation (grades, GPA, class rank, standardized test scores, etc.), a caddie evaluation form by the sponsoring club and financial documents (including your parents’ most recent tax return).

Most recipients attend one of the 14 universities across the nation where the Evans Scholars Foundation owns and operates a Scholarship House.

Eligibility:

  • Strong caddie record: Applicants must have caddied, successfully and regularly, for a minimum of two years and also expected to caddie and/or work at their sponsoring club during the summer when they apply for the scholarship.
  • Excellent academics: Applicants must have completed their junior year of high school with above a B average in college preparatory courses and are required to take the ACT.
  • Demonstrated financial need: Applicants must clearly establish their need for financial assistance.
  • Outstanding character: Applicants must be outstanding in character, integrity and leadership.

Although the September 30th deadline is not hard and fast the selection committee will give preference to those who submit the application before then.
